Jason Robert Brown’s acclaimed musical officially began its Broadway premiere run at the Hudson Theatre on March 18, with an official opening night set for April 6. The production features Nick alongside Tony Award winner Adrienne Warren in the lead roles.
Priyanka Chopra recently expressed immense pride and admiration for her husband, Nick Jonas, as he made his return to Broadway in the revival of "The Last Five Years." The musical, which began previews on March 18, 2025, at the Hudson Theatre in New York City, features Jonas alongside Tony Award winner Adrienne Warren. 
Chopra, currently filming with director S.S. Rajamouli, attended one of the preview performances and shared her excitement on social media. She posted a photo of the stage, captioning it, "So proud of you @nickjonas." She further expressed her admiration, writing, "I still cannot get over what I saw last night. This show is so special in such incredible ways, and they're both so talented." 
"The Last Five Years," written by Jason Robert Brown, explores the five-year relationship between Jamie, an emerging novelist portrayed by Jonas, and Cathy, a struggling actress played by Warren. The narrative uniquely unfolds with Jamie's story progressing chronologically, while Cathy's is told in reverse, providing audiences with a poignant and innovative storytelling experience. 
This production marks the first time "The Last Five Years" has been staged on Broadway since its original off-Broadway debut in 2001. Directed by Whitney White, the show is set for a limited 14-week engagement, with the official opening night scheduled for April 6, 2025, and performances running through June 22, 2025. 
Nick's brothers, Joe and Kevin Jonas, also showed their support by attending the preview performance. They shared their enthusiasm on social media, with Joe posting, "The man is back on Broadway! Proud of you @nickjonas." 
Fans and critics alike have lauded the performances of both Jonas and Warren, noting their chemistry and the emotional depth they bring to their roles. The production has been described as a "must-see," with audiences giving standing ovations during the preview performances.
